Background

Baitulmaal is an international humanitarian aid organization that provides life-saving, life-sustaining, and life-enriching support to underserved populations worldwide. With a mission to alleviate poverty and provide humanitarian relief, Baitulmaal operates across various regions, including Africa, the Middle East, and South Asia. Their efforts are driven by a vision of promoting dignity and improving the quality of life for vulnerable populations across the globe.

Objectives

The primary objective was to increase awareness of Baitulmaal’s humanitarian work in remote areas, such as Kenya, while also generating ongoing financial support. Baitulmaal needed a cost-effective way to produce engaging and impactful social media content that could reach a broad audience and inspire donations, despite challenges in accessing these remote locations.

Implementation

We created a strategy where we showcased Baitulmaal’s humanitarian efforts, including trips to traveling to Kenya, where the team captured stories of individuals impacted by the organization’s work. The content was distributed across various social media platforms to reach a wide audience, driving both awareness and engagement.

Results & Impact

Within the first 30 days, Baitulmaal successfully activated $1,000 in monthly recurring donations, all generated through organic content. The focus on storytelling and the emotional depth of the videos helped foster trust with the audience and increased Baitulmaal’s visibility on social platforms. This approach set the stage for sustained engagement and long-term support
